Sleep Fairy, Where Are You?!?!?

I don't know what happened to my good sleeper, but she is gone. It used to be that I'd put Nora in bed (for a nap or for the night), and she wouldn't make a peep. I wouldn't have to rock her or anything--just plop her down and "clock out" for the night. On Friday, that all changed. I went to put her down for a nap and she started screaming and clawing at me. I tried for a good hour to get her to go down, but it wasn't happening. She'd throw everything "required" for her to sleep out of her crib to ensure that she was NOT going to fall asleep. She was screaming so much and for so long, one of the neighbors came over to make sure everything was okay. I was completely flabbergasted. Bed time was much of the same. This afternoon (Sunday), I let her cry herself to sleep for her nap. I could tell by her cry that she was very tired, but she was determined to fight it. Last night, Joe noticed that she was drooling excessively, so we've decided that the main cause of all of this is probably some teeth. I thought she was done cutting teeth, but there must be some molars sneaking in. I gave her some Motrin before her bath tonight so that it would have kicked in (hopefully) by the time we put her to bed. We kept her up an hour past her bed time and then I went in and rocked her. When I put her down, she did the clawing and screaming, "NO!" again, but she didn't make a peep once I finally made her lay down and snuck out of her room. I'm hoping and praying that she makes it through the night and well into the morning. (The other problem with her sleeping the last 3 days is that she gets up very early and won't go back to sleep--so nobody is well rested and we are all very cranky).

Fingers crossed that this Motrin is the magic cure!!
